IT Operations Specialist

Falconwood is a woman-owned, veteran-owned company providing consultation and programmatic support to Department of Defense Information Technology (IT) initiatives and programs. We provide expert advice and consultation on a diverse range of IT subjects, focusing on acquisition, policy, cybersecurity, engineering, and process development.

The IT Operations Specialist will support our Corporate Headquarters.

• Provide solutions and support for day-to-day Corporate Operations
• Respond to user inquiries and recommend actions to correct problems 
• Set up, configure, upgrade, and maintain all laptops, desktops, and corporate hosting and cloud configurations 
• Participate in the integration and support of the telecom system 
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot IT issues 
• Establish and maintain IT vendor relationships 
• Respond to IT support requests from staff related Office 365 cloud and desktop applications 
• Manage Microsoft subscription-based products such as O365. 
• Provide training sessions covering O365 tools and best practices. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose escalated problems by evaluating multiple options and resolving using the best possible solutions 
• Reconcile/Manage Corporate Assets. 
• Review software compliance measures based on existing licensing agreements. 
• develop processes and procedures to solve complex problems, including analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications. 
• Assist in the procurement of IT equipment, management of the IT asset database, tracking and maintaining accurate inventory records and reorder points 
• Participate in projects and work efforts requiring procurement and vendor coordination, such as moves and office remodels. Ensures own deliverables are completed on time and to the expected level of quality. 
• Install system-wide software
