We provide expert consultation on a diverse range of IT subjects focusing on acquisition strategy, implementation activities, cloud computing, systems engineering, and Cyber Security policy and engineering. 

The Jr. Program Management Support Analyst will provide onsite support for USFF N02I2 functions and tasks, to include managing event schedules, documents, and briefs; as well as gathering, assessing, and analyzing documents in a timely manner for USFF N02I2 staff. This position requires a hybrid presence onsite with the client at the Naval Support Activity (NSA) in Norfolk, VA. As the onsite representative, the Analyst must be technically savvy and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. 

Responsibilities

The Junior Project Management Support Analyst Interprets requirements, performs analyses, and resolves problems. Supervises requirements traceability information and record requirements status. Provides support functions and tasks assigned to USSF N02I2, such as managing event schedules, document read-ahead(s) and briefs. The contractor will collate, assess, and analyze documents in a timely manner. 

  • Perform analytical, technical, and customer service functions in support of USFF 
  • Create, submit, and maintain Lessons Learned as requested 
  • Develop and update process guides (SOPs) 
  • Assist with the development / consolidation of the Monthly Status Reports (MSR) 
  • Coordinate Weekly Staff Meeting 
  • Gather stakeholder input, publish agenda, facilitate meeting Scheduling Video Teleconferences 
  • Participate in, as well as establish, program and project meetings to fulfill requirements and deliverables 
  • Draft / submit Monthly Training Report 
  • Update / publish CIO distribution list 
  • Update / publish phone list / organization chart / emergency evacuation list 
  • Order office supplies 
  • Generate, update, and / or review taskers 
  • Track and Report Tasker statuses and input from subordinate commands 
  • Track the origination, movement, and dissemination of correspondence 
  • Provide Enterprise Software Licensing (ESL) support in all areas to include data analysis, status updates, emails, taskers 
  • Run reports as required 
  • Other duties as required 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Active SECRET Clearance 
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience or an associate’s degree. 
  • Proficiency in technical and business writing 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint 
  • Excellent customer/client management skills and techniques – internal and external 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize all ongoing efforts and meet short suspense/high visibility deadline 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to think independently with minimal oversight, as well as demonstrate self-motivation and initiative 

 

Preferred: 

  • Prior Active Duty or Government Civilian 
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Experience applying SECNAVINST 5216.5 (Navy Correspondence Manual) to correspondence 
  • High proficiency with writing Naval Correspondence 
  • Experience with communications management and / or project management 
  • Familiar with DON network environments 
  • Familiar with USFF structure and organization 

 

Pay Range

$65,000-$70,000
